Job Description

1. Overview:
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness engagement and lead generation. This role requires a creative and data-driven individual who can manage multiple social media platforms create engaging content and analyze performance to optimize campaigns. The ultimate objective is to build a strong online community and drive business growth through social media.

2. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Create engaging and high-quality content (text image video) across various social media platforms (e.g. Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn TikTok).
  • Manage social media accounts ensuring timely and consistent posting.
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions comments and messages responding promptly and professionally.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement reach website traffic conversions) and report on key findings.
  • Identify and leverage trending hashtags and topics to increase visibility.
  • Develop and implement hashtag strategies for optimal reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with influencers to promote brand messaging and reach new audiences.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns optimizing for performance and ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media best practices algorithm updates and emerging trends.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in website content updates and management as needed.
  • Support email marketing campaigns through social media promotion.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.

3. Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in using various social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer Sprout Social).
  • Experience with social media analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager Google Ads).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using design software (e.g. Canva Adobe Photoshop - advantageous).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in social media marketing.

5. Skills & Experience:
  • Social Media Marketing: Proven experience developing and executing successful social media strategies across multiple platforms. Demonstrated ability to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Content Writing: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms.
  • Content Marketing: Ability to develop and implement content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience interests.
  • Content Management: Experience managing and organizing large volumes of content across various platforms.
  • Content Strategy: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that achieve specific goals.
  • Digital Marketing: Broad understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Advertising: Experience planning executing and analyzing social media advertising campaigns.
  • Performance Tracking & Performance Marketing: Ability to track analyze and interpret social media data to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
  • SEO: Understanding of SEO principles and how to incorporate them into social media strategies.
  • Hashtag & Hashtag Strategy: Proficiency in identifying and utilizing relevant hashtags to increase reach and engagement.
  • Influencer Marketing: Experience collaborating with influencers to promote brand messaging.
  • Website: Basic understanding of website functionality and content management systems.
  • Email Marketing: Familiarity with email marketing principles and how to leverage social media to promote email campaigns.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Creativity: Ability to generate innovative and engaging social media content.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing social media trends and algorithms.
