Overview
The position of Orthopedic Surgeon MS DNB Consultant at our facility in Kadi Gujarat plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of orthopedic healthcare services. This role involves the diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders which are prevalent and can significantly affect patients quality of life. The Orthopedic Surgeon will not only perform complex surgical procedures but will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. This position is vital for driving clinical excellence and ensuring the wellbeing of patients through tailored treatment plans and expert surgical intervention. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and reviews of medical histories.
- Diagnose orthopedic conditions through clinical evaluations and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
- Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures.
- Ensure post-operative care and management to facilitate optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists to create recovery programs.
- Monitor patients during follow-ups to assess progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Educate patients and families on orthopedic health and preventive measures.
- Stay updated on the latest orthopedic techniques and advancements in technology.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to clinical protocols.
- Engage in research activities to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior medical staff.
- Contribute to community outreach programs focusing on orthopedic awareness.
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations in all procedures.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Masters degree in Orthopedic Surgery (MS) or equivalent.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery.
- Proven track record in performing orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent patient management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated skills in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in conducting clinical research is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple patients.
- Willingness to participate in community service initiatives.
- Current medical licensing required to practice in Gujarat.
