Role Responsibilities:

• Perform complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to determine the best surgical approach for patients.
• Lead a team of surgical professionals fostering collaboration and communication.
• Monitor post-operative patients to ensure safe recovery and address any complications.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery techniques.
• Participate in surgical meetings and case reviews contributing expertise and insights.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly maintained and sterilized.
• Assist in the development and implementation of surgical protocols and standards.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records of all surgical patients.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Engage in research initiatives aimed at improving surgical outcomes.
• Participate in training and mentorship for junior surgical staff.
• Evaluate and utilize new surgical technologies and tools to enhance surgical effectiveness.
• Respond to surgical emergencies and complications in an effective manner.

Qualifications:

• Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Cardiothoracic Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical license to practice in India.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.
• Strong background in managing surgical teams and working collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in using surgical technology and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience in patient education and advocacy.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
