This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and review of loan application packages.
- Verify and compile necessary documentation such as income statements credit reports and asset information.
- Follow up with clients to obtain any missing or additional information.
- Ensure loan documents meet regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Communicate with lenders underwriters and other financial institutions.
- Track the loan processing timeline ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Manage office communications including answering phone calls and emails.
- Organise and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for loan officers and clients.
- Prepare reports presentations and other documentation as needed.
- Handle data entry and maintain up-to-date records in company databases.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the loan process.
- Answer client questions and provide regular updates on loan status.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Ensure all loan applications adhere to company policies and relevant legal regulations.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with financial industry standards.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of loan processing systems and compliance regulations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
- Proficiency in data entry and document management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelors degree in finance business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing and administration
- Proven experience as a Loan Processor preferably with a focus on loans involving assets.
