As a QA Engineer you ll be at the forefront of this mission helping us to build a scalable geo-location platform which helps keep people safe wherever they are in the world.
Track24 is looking for a skilled and adaptable QA Engineer to take ownership over our testing suite and practices as well as ensure that we are coding to the highest standard.
As a foundational hire youll be instrumental in shaping the QA discipline introducing best practices building test automation frameworks and ensuring our systems are reliable scalable and robust before reaching our clients.
Develop and execute test plans across multiple areas of the Track24 platform
Work with Engineering to forecast and plan quarterly test coverage
Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI pipelines
Lead the introduction of QA best practices across both legacy and greenfield systems
Communicate QA risks and concerns effectively to the Head of Engineering and Technical Leads
Help define and uphold quality standards providing technical feedback on performance and maintainability
Ensure the Engineering teams "ways of working" are embedded in QA processes
Stay informed on emerging testing tools and automation techniques
Test critical system workloads edge cases and behaviours to ensure reliability and high availability
Requirements
Proven experience with manual and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines
Experience testing distributed service-oriented or event-driven architectures
Skilled in writing automated tests for both legacy and greenfield projects
Familiar with project management tools like Jira or Linear
Strong technical foundation with a track record of assuring high-quality systems at scale
Comfortable in high-stakes environments with strict uptime and availability standards
