Are you a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Project Manager looking for a high-impact role with a fast-moving Special Projects team This is a unique opportunity to lead high-volume quick-turn projects ranging from $10K to $4MM (most around $200K) without the slow pace of multi-year builds.
Youll manage 50 70 projects in different stages simultaneously average of 30 active projects so strong organizational planning and communication skills are critical. You ll be the go-to person on jobs across Tampa working on office buildings schools medical facilities and more. Overseeing a wide portfolio of commercial mechanical and plumbing projects
Coordinating jobs from prec-onstruction through closeout with a strong emphasis on scheduling and budgeting
Managing project milestones cost-to-complete reporting forecasting and change orders
Working with teams to ensure on-time on-budget delivery
Performing regular job walks and coordinating subcontractors across multiple job sites
Communicating with clients subcontractors engineers and internal teams
Tracking labor material costs and job performance metrics using Vista Viewpoint and Microsoft Project
Reading and interpreting mechanical/plumbing drawings and construction schedules
5 years of commercial mechanical or plumbing project management experience
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once (ideally 50)
Experience with office buildings schools or healthcare facilities
Strong skills in Excel cost forecasting budgets and financial reporting
Experience with Vista Viewpoint and Microsoft Project is preferred
Knowledge of contract negotiation labor tracking and scheduling
Strong organizational and planning skills
Mechanical and/or plumbing systems knowledge is required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Must be fluent in English (verbal and written); Spanish fluency is a bonus
Ability to walk job sites and lift up to 20 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in both office and field settings
