Exciting School Psychologist Role NCSP Preferred Elementary Focus

Schedule: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Elementary School Students
Our Organization is actively seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the mental and emotional well-being of young learners within a vibrant elementary school setting.
In this role you ll be a key member of the student support team working to reduce health-related barriers to academic success and promote full classroom participation. You ll deliver school-based mental health services that help foster a positive inclusive learning environment and empower students to thrive both academically and personally.
What You ll Do:
- Help students build self-awareness resilience and communication skills.
- Observe students in classrooms and school environments to gather critical data for intervention planning.
- Collaborate with staff and families to implement effective support strategies and improve student outcomes.
- Provide counseling and skills-based instruction to support students dealing with emotional behavioral or social difficulties.
This is a unique opportunity for a School Psychologist who values early intervention teamwork and creating environments where all students feel seen supported and empowered. NCSP credential preferred but not required.
Requirements
Candidates must have earned a Masters degree in School or Educational Psychology and hold a valid school psychology license issued by the state of Illinois. Additionally applicants should either possess or be eligible to obtain the required endorsement in School Psychology.
