Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instruction based on IEP goals and student skill levels
- Create lesson plans curriculum materials and track academic performance
- Assess student needs using standardized tools CBAs and ongoing observation
- Complete all IEP paperwork reporting and data tracking requirements
- Collaborate with support staff administrators and families to monitor progress
- Supervise classroom aides and contribute to positive classroom management
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 Certification
- Experience writing and implementing IEPs
- Proficiency in curriculum adaptation and behavioral intervention planning
- Skilled in data collection academic assessments and goal tracking
- Ability to lift and assist students as needed and maintain safety protocols
