Job Description
Job Summary
We are hiring a qualified 6G TIG & ARC Welder with expertise in welding various materials using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Manual Metal Arc (MMA/ARC) welding processes. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience and be capable of handling complex welding positions especially 6G.
Key Responsibilities
Perform 6G position welding using TIG and ARC methods on pipes and structural components
Read and interpret welding procedures drawings and blueprints
Prepare materials and equipment for welding activities
Inspect and test welds to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain tools and welding machines in good working condition
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Coordinate with foremen and supervisors for daily work assignments
Assist in material handling and post-welding clean-up as needed
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of welding symbols and procedures
Skilled in working with carbon steel stainless steel and alloy pipes
Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
Attention to detail and strong focus on weld quality
Experience in oil & gas shipyard or construction projects preferred
