What Youll Do
As a Part-Time Frontend Software Developer at Sozoroad you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces across our digital platforms. Working closely with our UI/UX Designer and Backend Software Developer you ll transform visual concepts and wireframes into responsive accessible and performance-optimized code. Your work will directly impact how users engage with our tools services and content.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive accessible websites and web applications using HTML CSS JavaScript and modern frameworks (React Vue or Angular).
- Translate wireframes mockups and design specifications into clean functional front-end code.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services in coordination with the Backend Software Developer.
- Optimize application performance responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Maintain and improve front-end architecture reusable component libraries and documentation.
- Implement front-end best practices in code structure design responsiveness and basic SEO.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to development workflows and tools.

Requirements
- Display outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered and a bonus experience with backend development particularly in building and integrating APIs or working with server-side technologies is highly preferred.
- Adaptability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) for efficient collaboration.
- Proven experience as a Frontend Software Developer or Full-Stack Developer with a portfolio showcasing web and mobile designs. (NOTE: Provide a link to your portfolio within your resume.)
- Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and front-end frameworks (React Vue or Angular).
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass LESS) and responsive design principles.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and basic web security principles.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and SEO-friendly front-end practices.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote asynchronous setting.
