The Opportunity
This role offers a unique chance to join a fast-growing company committed to becoming a major player in the WA mining market. You will be at the forefront of developing strategic partnerships with some of the region s highest-value mining customers.
Unlike a typical sales role focused on transactional deals this position emphasises building long-term relationships through understanding customer challenges and delivering tailored solutions that drive productivity improvements reduce operational costs enhance safety standards and support sustainable practices.
You will work closely with internal teams across product development logistics and customer service to ensure your clients receive the best possible support. This role also offers flexibility with remote working options while providing full support for frequent travel to various mine sites across WA.
The Tasks Ahead:
As an Account Manager based in Western Australia your main focus will be to:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the WA mining sector.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
- Understand customer requirements deeply to recommend the most effective grinding media solutions both forged and cast products.
- Monitor product performance on site through regular visits and gather feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain technical experts and leadership to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Prepare monthly reports and updates for senior management on sales performance market trends and customer insights.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings to raise brand awareness and credibility.
This role requires frequent travel to mine sites around WA to engage directly with customers understand their operational conditions first-hand and build strong personal connections. All travel expenses will be fully covered by the company.
You will have the autonomy to manage your own call cycle while being supported by a collaborative team focused on mutual success.

Key Requirements
- At least 10 years experience in a sales or customer-facing role within the mining industry.
- Strong network and relationships with mining customers; experience in grinding media is not essential but an advantage.
- Willingness and enthusiasm for regular travel to mine sites across Western Australia.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine customer-centric mindset.
- Proven track record in delivering sales results and managing accounts independently.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to plan strategically for each site contract and opportunity.
- Motivated self-starter comfortable working remotely while maintaining discipline.
- Valid Australian driver s licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred.
