Audio-Visual Business Development Executive

The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to help expand their presence in the event services sector. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about audio-visual production thrives on building client relationships and is motivated by strategic growth. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to identify new opportunities develop tailored solutions for clients and help drive the company s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and emerging trends in the AV and events space
- Generate and pursue leads via networking outreach and digital channels
- Build strong long-term relationships with corporate clients event producers and planners
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized audio-visual solutions that align with client needs
- Assist in creating compelling presentations and sales materials
- Attend industry events trade shows and conferences to promote services and forge new partnerships
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities and provide regular performance reports
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related field
- 1 3 years of sales or business development experience with a strong preference for experience in the AV event services industry
- Familiarity with AV technology and how it applies to live events and corporate functions
- Strong communication presentation and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Highly self-motivated goal-oriented and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry networking events

Job Requirements: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with QCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure and Intelix. Great to have: AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP / switchers Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls are preferred. Advanced working knowledge of computers (Windows-based) and software. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents including product specifications, wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Valid driver s license with minimum 3-year clean driving record. Infocomm CTS certification (within 6 months of employment start) & CTS-I within 12 months Maintain and/or acquire OSHA 10 Hr construction within 3 months from employment start.
