Job Description

Our client a leading leader in life sciences and diagnostics is looking for an Associate Test Engineer 2 (Shift 3) based out of Milpitas CA.


Duration: Long-Term Contract (High possibility of extension and/or conversion)
Pay Rate: $43 - $45/hr on W2
1st Shift Hours: 10:00pm - 6:30 am

Experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician with 2 4 years of hands-on experience in assembly calibration testing troubleshooting and repair of circuits components instruments and mechanical systems. Proven ability to work in clean room environments while developing and executing test specifications system requirements and technical procedures. Skilled in using oscilloscopes digital volt meters (DVMs) torque wrenches calipers and other precision hand tools. Strong collaborator who communicates clearly across functional teams demonstrating excellent organizational skills and a logical self-directed approach to solving technical problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform setup calibration functional testing and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical assemblies and final systems.
  • Interpret blueprints drawings and diagrams to develop and follow test specifications methods and procedures.
  • Identify document and resolve technical issues through hands-on rework and adjustment as needed.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing test findings and recommending solutions to resolve issues.
  • Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment to meet system requirements.
  • Operate oscilloscopes DVMs and other electronic analysis tools to support troubleshooting and validation.
  • Maintain clean room protocols while performing assembly and testing tasks.

Education:

Technical Certificate Associate s Degree (AS) in Electronics Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field.
Military technical training or equivalent vocational training is acceptable instead of formal education.
