Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate the production machinery according to standard operating procedure ensuring efficient and accurate production processes.
- Develop and implement a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule to ensure machinery operates optimally and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues on the equipment promptly to minimise downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities including repairs replacements and inspections to ensure accurate machine performance tracking facilitate troubleshooting and support informed decision-making for maintenance planning and operational efficiency.
- Document and maintain accurate records of production activities (material consumption and wastage) machine performance and issues encountered during operations to report these to the supervisors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND in engineering or its related field. HND/ qualifications are added advantages.
- Minimum 6 months of machine operation and maintenance
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Maintenance skills.
