Job Description
What Youll Do
Process Design & System Modeling
- Lead review and interpretation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Heat & Material Balances for hydrocarbon processing facilities
- Perform advanced process modeling and simulations using software like Aspen HYSYS Flaresim Flarenet Piphase and Pipesim
- Size and specify critical process equipment including vessels pumps and heat exchangers
- Identify and implement process efficiency improvements with measurable cost savings
Safety & Compliance Leadership
- Develop comprehensive flare & relief system designs and conduct PSV sizing and depressurization studies
- Participate and contribute to HAZOP HAZID SIL LOPA and risk assessments for process safety compliance
- Ensure all designs comply with industry codes and standards including API 618 API 619 ASME B31.3 API 521 NFPA 86 and ISO 10439
- Drive adherence to environmental and industry regulations across all operations
Process Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot complex operational problems and provide innovative applicable solutions
- Optimize process operations through data-driven decision-making and real-time monitoring strategies
- Contribute to commissioning and start-up activities for new systems and equipment
- Develop comprehensive reports on process optimization safety analysis and topside performance improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams (mechanical facility electrical instrumentation field operations) to develop integrated engineering solutions
- Interface with vendors EPC contractors and regulatory authorities for process approvals and technical discussions
- Work closely with project management teams across various project phases from conceptual studies to detailed design
- Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and results to stakeholders

Requirements
Who You Are
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable institution (minimum Second Class Upper)
7 10 years of oil & gas industry experience particularly in offshore production pipelines or engineering design
Deep understanding of upstream and midstream operations process systems and safety standards
Strong experience in pipelines production operations and engineering
Strong knowledge of industry codes and regulatory frameworks
Master s degree or advanced certification is a plus
PMP certification is an advantage
Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS Pipesim Flaresim and other process modeling tools
Experience across project phases including conceptual studies FEED and detailed design
Excellent analytical and process reporting skills and strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint and MS Project
Proven ability to manage tasks under pressure in complex multi-functional environments
