Were partnering with a prominent oil & gas company seeking a Production Engineer to drive production optimization well surveillance and hydrocarbon accounting. What Youll Do
Production Optimization & System Modeling
- Develop and implement integrated production system modeling for optimization using GAP software
- Conduct daily well surveillance and comprehensive hydrocarbon accounting
- Lead well test review validation and daily well-by-well production allocation
- Drive production performance through data-driven analysis and strategic recommendations
ESP & Gas Lift Operations
- Design analyze optimize and troubleshoot ESP wells to maximize production efficiency
- Design gas lift start-up procedures and provide continuous monitoring of gas lift operations
- Implement best-in-class artificial lift strategies tailored to well conditions
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime
Water Management & Process Analysis
- Monitor water injection programmes and maintain optimal voidage replacement ratios
- Build and manage comprehensive Prosper well models for performance prediction
- Conduct process downtime analysis and production deferment tracking
- Interface with Finance and Crude Lifting teams for export scheduling optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Management Field Operations and Finance teams to align production strategy with business goals
- Collaborate with Petroleum Engineering teams on well optimization and performance enhancement
- Take ownership of production reporting and data management systems

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Petroleum Chemical Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution (minimum Second Class Upper)
- 5-8 years of oil and gas industry experience specifically in Production Engineering
- Proven ability to understand and solve complex well problems independently
- Strong expertise in integrated production modeling tools and software

- Masters degree is an added advantage
- Proficiency in GAP software and Prosper well modeling
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in diversified work environments
