Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading nursing home in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Follow the Code of Professional Conduct guidelines as set down by An Bord Altranais.
- Ensure provision of quality resident care on a daily basis in accordance with An Bord Altranais Guidelines Best Practice Documents for Nursing Care of Older People in Residential Care Settings
- Maintain a high standard of professional and ethical conduct.
- To undertake delegated responsibility for the unit(s) in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Act as an ambassador for the The Centre and be a professional representative the organisation at all times.
- Foster an environment which enhances the retention of staff.
- Continue to develop clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide clinically effective evidence based nursing care.
- Continue to develop management skills in an effort to promote best practice amongst team members.
- To act as a role model in clinical duties work performance work behaviour and attitude towards the job.
Requirements
- Previous managerial training/experience an advantage
- Registered on the NMBI live register.
- Excellent Leadership Organizational and Communication skills
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a Nursing Home environment
- Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative
- Ability to work well and promote a team environment
