Shift: Full time position.
Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections along with light preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies
- Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report vehicle defects accidents or violations promptly
Work Environment
- Fast-paced on-the-road and loading dock environments
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Physical work including occasional lifting climbing and extended sitting while driving
Qualifications :
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and basic vehicle maintenance
- Comfortable with GPS and route planning technology
