Job Description

Ampols Delivery team acts as strategic enabler to our transformation and our operating model ensuring we responsibly invest in the right priorities to maximise value consistently deliver impactful outcomes and align Tech Digital & Data (TDD) to Ampol Groups strategic goals and outcomes.  

The Portfolio Reporting Analyst will drive informed decisions stakeholder confidence risk awareness and proactive portfolio management by delivering accurate timely and insights-driven reporting using contemporary data tools automation and visual communication techniques. 

You will have the opportunity to 

  • Build refine and maintain measures dashboards and reports to monitor portfolio performance progress risks and benefits. 
  • Provide meaningful and actionable insights by collecting validating and analysing portfolio data from multiple systems and developing measurement plans operational definitions and reporting formats that ensure accuracy consistency and reliability. 
  • Streamline and automate reporting processes and data workflows to improve efficiency comparability and reliability of data measures and insights. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to align reporting with needs improve understanding of portfolio performance identify and address data gaps for better insights and improve data and information presentation and communication methods.  
  • Support the Portfolio Reporting Manager in delivering consistent high-quality portfolio reporting aligned to governance cycles and decision-making forums. 

Qualifications :

What youll bring to Z 

  • Experience designing and building interactive dashboards and performance reporting using best practices in layout navigation and visual clarity to support effective portfolio management. 
  • Strong data analysis skills including trend identification anomaly detection and the use of calculated measures to surface insights. 
  • Familiarity with contemporary measurement frameworks and reporting approaches such as real-time data integration drill-through navigation and dynamic filters to support deeper analysis. 
  • Experience applying data storytelling techniques and various presentation and communication methods to highlight key insights and communicate complex information to diverse audiences 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to align and refine reporting needs align key measures and resolve data quality issues to improve understanding interpretation and successful reporting outcomes.

The base salary range for this role is $125000.00 to $140000.00per annum plus 15% STI based on company performance a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
