Job Description

Burrow Global has an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Scheduler for a petrochemical plant in Baytown TX.

Candidates for this position will be responsible for scheduling all planned maintenance work. The Routine Maintenance Scheduler ensures that the resources required for a specific job are scheduled according to the resource availability and operations requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review SAP backlogs for ready to schedule work orders
  • Prepare weekly optimized schedules with Operations by day based on job - due date workload and available resources as well as coordination of schedule for special equipment and tools to improve working efficiency
  • Determine work to be rescheduled with operations to make room for break-in work
  • Lead schedule update meetings to make sure the job is arranged according to priority and resources are aligned between maintenance and production
  • Monitor backlogs and notify maintenance supervision as to capacity needs to maintain optimum backlog levels to ensure the flexibility for supervisor to arrange the resources and fully utilize the resources
  • Compilation and distribution of required schedules to Operations and Maintenance Execution Groups to ensure all people can follow one schedule
  • Must have in-depth scheduling and planning experience in a scheduling role. Must be proficient in SAP and the Prometheus scheduling tool.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree with 3-5 years experience as a maintenance scheduler in a petrochemical or refinery environment.

  • Active TWIC Card is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP-PM Maintenance Transactions Documentum Microsoft Office Products and Meridium software
  • Knowledge and experience with contractor management
  • Ability to climb stairs and possess sufficient physical strength to perform requirements in a safe manner without endangering self or others.
  • Ability to work at a computer for prolonged durations daily Technical Competencies
  • Strong Plant Maintenance Knowledge and experience
