Job Description
At Syngenta we believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge the Syngenta Seeds team is currently seeking a Digital Product Owner.
Role Purpose: The Digital Product Owner will manage development and implementation of trait capture tools coordinate Trialing Operational Processing systems and drive integration and synergy across related product. owners
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for the Trialing Process ecosystem
- Ensure effective prioritization of features and enhancements across all related systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine product requirements
- Coordinate with IT analytics and data science teams to implement technical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in Seeds Material Management and Inventory processes
- Oversee the development and enhancement of trait capture tools
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration among product owners
- Measure and report on key performance indicators for the Trialing Process
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- Advanced knowledge of product management methodologies and best practices
- Understanding of agricultural research processes particularly in seed trialing
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices
- Knowledge of data collection tools and technologies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product management or program ownership
- 3 years of experience in agricultural technology or related field
- Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Strong communication and presentation skills
