As the Penetration Testing Team Lead you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing penetration testing and red teaming engagements. You will lead a team of skilled ethical hackers ensuring high-quality service delivery while mentoring and developing team members. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance hands-on testing with leadership responsibilities client management and continuous service improvement.

As a Penetration Testing Team Leader you will:

• Lead manage and mentor a team of penetration testers and red team experts.
• Oversee the planning execution and reporting of penetration testing and red team engagements across various domains (network web applications cloud mobile physical etc.).
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and tailor assessments accordingly.
• Develop and refine testing methodologies tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure thorough documentation of findings recommendations and remediation strategies in professional reports.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats attack techniques and mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with other cybersecurity teams to integrate offensive security insights into broader security programs.
• Drive the development of automated tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Assist in pre-sales activities including scoping engagements and client presentations.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity or other relevant fields.
• 5 years of experience in penetration testing red teaming or offensive security roles with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role within a cybersecurity team.
• Strong expertise in penetration testing methodologies (OWASP MITRE ATT&CK PTES OSSTMM etc.).
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite Metasploit Cobalt Strike BloodHound Nmap and others.
• Deep understanding of adversarial tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python PowerShell Bash etc.).
• Relevant certifications (e.g. OSCP OSCE OSEP OSED CISSP CRTO GXPN) are highly desirable.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cloud security assessments (AWS Azure GCP) would be an asset.
