- Have 3 years of professional experience with any modern programming language (preferably Python C/C or C#)
- Possess experience working with Linux or Unix systems
- Demonstrate a strong interest in Python and open-source technologies
- Are able to learn on the job and show an aptitude for solving complex technical problems

- Solid experience with relational databases
- Experience working in a highly technical environment and solving complex problems
- Familiarity with microservices architecture RESTful APIs message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ) and NoSQL datastores (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience developing applications using non-blocking I/O (event loops)
- Proficiency in Python particularly with the Tornado framework
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Previous commercial experience in the gambling or sports betting sector
- A demonstrated passion for programming reflected through a blog portfolio GitHub Bitbucket profile or personal website
