Join Our Team as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher at Learn & Play Preschool!
Position Starts: August 4th 2025
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:45 AM4:45 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 $17.00 per hour (based on experience and education)

About the Role:
Were seeking a dedicated Pre-K Assistant Teacher who will support our Lead Teacher in delivering a nurturing engaging and play-based learning experience for our preschoolers. Youll help create a safe inclusive classroom where children feel valued and inspired to thrive.
What Youll Do:
Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
Foster a welcoming and joyful classroom environment.
Promote childrens independence safety and emotional development.
Pitch in with classroom routines including setup cleanup and supporting toileting needs.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with families.
What Were Looking For:
Required: Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Required: Current NC DCDEE Background Check & Qualification Letter.
A positive dependable and team-oriented attitude.
A genuine passion for helping young children grow and succeed.
Willingness to support classroom cleaning dishwashing and caregiving needs.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
