Description
The Animal Clinic of Los Alamos is now hiring a full-time Kennel Technician to join our team!
We are looking for dedicated and caring kennel technicians for our boarding Facility. In this role you must be punctual and timely our shifts start as early as 7 am. We are one of Los Alamos top dog daycare and boarding facilities. Weekends and Holidays are ourbusiesttimes.
Kennel Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Feeding walk and monitor well-being of our hotel guests and day care participants
- Maintaining the sanitation of the facility by keeping the pets hotel and hospital grounds clean and odor-free
- Administer medications as requested
- Document everything according to protocol
- Read behavior of pets including those that could be fearful and/or aggressive
- Assist with the check in/check out process
- Nightly tuck ins
- Lift up to 40lbs
- Bathing and brushing
- Nail trims
- Client communication
