This is a full time role working 37 hours per week for a duration of 18-24 months starting September 2025.

Heres the facts about the role:

Youll complete a Revenue and Welfare Benefits Practitioner apprenticeship (Level 4) to gain practical skills and real-world experience in the social housing sector. Youll have access to training mentorship and a variety of development opportunities.

The Revenues and Welfare Benefits apprentice will work within our Money Advice and Benefits team in which our advisors support70000 customers with benefit calculations applying for benefits grants addressing debt solutions and lay representation at benefit tribunal hearings.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop the skills and competencies that are required to meet our service standards and the needs of our customers. You will work closely with experienced housing professionals and MAB advisors to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of housing operations

Youll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of housing operations including Neighbourhoods Income and Financial Inclusion Lettings Complaints and Customer Experience.

To apply for our housing apprenticeships you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have at least 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A*-C including Maths and English
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a keen interest in social housing
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be enthusiastic proactive and willing to learn
