About the Role

As the Human Resources Officer youll play a key role in delivering day-to-day operational HR support across Ironbark. From recruitment and onboarding to maintaining employee records and supporting compliance your work will help ensure our workforce is well-supported engaged and thriving.

Working closely with our Workforce Development Coordinator and teams across the organisation youll manage the full employee lifecycle support performance and development initiatives and contribute to a safe inclusive and culturally responsive workplace.

What Youll Do

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Administer Employment Hero maintaining accurate employee records
  • Provide policy and procedural advice to staff and managers
  • Support probation performance review and training processes
  • Assist in performance and disciplinary procedures
  • Prepare HR reports and contribute to internal compliance and governance
  • Champion staff engagement and contribute to positive workplace culture

What Were Looking For

  • Certificate IV in HR or Business (or currently studying)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar HR generalist role
  • High-level communication organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HR legislation policies and best practice
  • Strong computer literacy including Employment Hero and Microsoft Office
  • A genuine commitment to diversity cultural awareness and respectful engagement
