Were seeking a dedicated cook to craft exceptional caf-style food experiences at our Longshot Caf in Coffs Harbour!

  • Monday - Friday roster 6.30am 2.30pm (no weekend work!)

About the Role

As a Cook youll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. This role will operate between Monday to Friday (6.30am 2.30pm).

You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Prepare cook and present menu items to a consistently high standard
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • Maintain a clean safe and organised kitchen at all times
  • Assist with stock rotation and storage
  • Follow all food hygiene safety and quality standards
  • Work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification is desirable.
  • HACCP & food safety knowledge.
  • Experience managing stock control and costs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for hospitality!
