Job Description

Introduction

THE ROLE

Swing City is a state of the art purpose built leisure and social centre with a focus on all things Golf.

Swing City is part of the Mulpha Group (Mulpha) one of Australias most experienced real estate and hospitality investors with highly specialised operational management and development capability.

The Duty Manager will ensure the efficient daily operations across all aspects of the venue with a focus on leading and motivating the team to drive sales performance and exceed customer service expectations.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist the Venue GM and OM to plan develop and implement experiences that achieve budgeted revenue cost of goods labour and overall financial targets.
  • Deliver the customer service strategy through the daily operations of the team to encourage repeat visitation.
  • Ensure service levels are delivered and continually seek to upskill the team in customer service and F&B skill.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the daily F&B and/or venue operation to ensure guest experience is maximised and the team are supported and developed.
  • Ensure a quality experience is provided across all areas of the multi-faceted venue; included but not limited to events birthday parties bay service bar & dining.
  • Assist and support other areas and departments when needed
  • Ensure all daily cash procedures are adhered to and be responsible for the opening and closing procedures.
  • Deal with customer complaints to ensure effective and timely solution are provided.
  • Provide feedback to management on operational enhancements revenue initiatives and product improvement.
  • Adherence to all policies procedures legislation and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Any other duties as required or directed.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience leading a team within a Food & Beverage or Venue Operations environment ideally within a fast paced high quality volume based concept.
  • Proven success in motivating and developing a team to deliver exceptional financial goals and customer service standards.
  • Extensive cash handling experience and proven experience opening and closing venues.
  • Experience dealing with guest complaints and finding efficient effective and timely solutions.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation
  • Working with Children Check
  • Barista experience
