Job Description
- Team structure is unique and Medical Assistants will be working with RNs LPNs Paramedics andNursing Assistants. This structure gives Medical Assistantsthe chance to work on their delegation and prioritization skills.
- Medical Assistantsspend a great deal of time working with our patients doing faxes and limited phone triage.
- There is room for advancement to a Medical Assistant lead.
- Performs technical patient care and related clerical functions in an ambulatory setting.
- Duties may involve the use of electronic word/data processing equipment and/or conventional office equipment.

Percent of Time: 90%
Schedule:36 hours per week to be accomplished between the hours of 0730 and 1700. Monday through Friday. No weekends no holidays and no call.

- CertificationORregistration as a Medical AssistantORcompletion of a recognized one-year Medical Assistant ProgramOR Completion of a health care profession program with a curriculum incorporating elements of a Medical Assistant program including but not limited to pathophysiology medical terminology basicpharmacologyand medication administration including dose calculation and psychology (include educational transcripts during application process)
