Description

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full time Regional Manager to support our offices in the Northeast Philadelphia region.

The Company:

Rothman Orthopaedics is a world leader in the field of orthopedics improving patients lives with unwavering commitment. The practice was founded in 1970 by Richard H. Rothman M.D. Ph.D and provides leading care in more than 40 locations.

The Position:

The Regional Office Manager is responsible for the operations of the practice and the site management team serves as a team resource and promotes excellence based on organizational goals.

  • Directs and supervises site management to ensure activities run smoothly.
  • Participates in processes improvement and development in the organization.
  • Monitors patient care services insuring they meet organizational guidelines and patient needs.
  • Provides oversight and direction for all projects related to clinic operations and services.
  • Prepares and reviews operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identifies processes determines areas of improvement and sets measurements in place for the same. Recommends cost saving methods to improve efficiency
  • Participates in work of subordinates to facilitate productivity and to overcome difficult aspects of work.
  • Hires trains disciplines evaluates and terminates in accordance with Rothman Institutes Human Resource policy. Responsible for required corrective action coaching and development of direct reporting staff. Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases promotions and disciplinary actions. Maintains personnel records on all staff including vacation and sick leave reviews and disciplinary documentation in conjunction with Human Resources and Payroll departments.
  • Resolves employee and physician complaints; consulting with Director of Operations as necessary.
  • Develops planning including operational goals and objectives.
  • Communicates information to customers physicians and staff.
  • Manages Customer Service Programs. Addresses patient complaints to full resolution while working closely with the compliance department. Works with Allied Health staff to ensure that quality patient care and services are provided.
  • Maximizes FTE utilization.
  • Builds professional relationships with affiliate hospitals and organizations. Networks with referring and primary care physicians insurance carriers and nurse case managers while working closely with Marketing and the Business Office
  • Conducts monthly site manager meetings.
  • Processes time and attendance for all site managers.
  • Contributes to short and long term organizational planning as a member of the management team.
  • Resolves problems in administrative areas and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Two (2) years of practice management or related experience in healthcare required
  • Healthcare operations knowledge required
  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office
