Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Meal Attendant to join our team in Baltimore. In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent food service while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction in our meal center.
- Prepare and serve meals according to established portion control guidelines and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety protocols and temperature control procedures
- Assist in food preparation and restocking of serving stations
- Interact professionally with customers and respond to their needs in a friendly manner
- Monitor food quality and quantity during service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Record and report any discrepancies or issues with food items
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Participate in setup and cleanup procedures for meal services
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for portion control and inventory
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 25 pounds and move freely throughout the facility
- Strong attention to detail in food safety and sanitation procedures
- Excellent team collaboration skills
- Flexible schedule including ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation to work location in Baltimore

Compensation:
Pay Range: $17-$19.02
