What is the opportunity

The primary purpose for this position is to provide analysis processing and customer service support for our incoming ACAT team. Incumbent will review verify and record data into technology systems supporting department processes. Incumbent will address escalated questions independently seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures. Position contains risk which are managed through operational reviews system checks and adherence to procedures.

What will you do

  • Review and process incoming transfers via ACAT system
  • Liaise and provide customer service support for individuals requiring research problem resolution or securing information from other Operations departments RBC Business Units external customers or industry participants.
  • Understand department procedures and required accountabilities in the area or department in which the incumbent works..
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Reduce risk by suggesting process changes or modifications as appropriate.
  • Address escalated questions independently seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures.

What do you need to succeed

Must-have

  • High school diploma or equivalent with three years of job related experience in business finance customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead train and provide work direction to others.
  • Effective problem identification analytical and resolution skills along with proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing strong customer service skills organizational skills and superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelors degree in finance business or related field.
  • Previous experience in the securities or banking industry.
  • Experience with brokerage systems.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $40000 - $65000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidates experience skills registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health dental vision life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
