The County of Washington Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (BHDS) Department is seeking applicants for the position of Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist to specialize in Incident Management. This is professional work of an administrative nature involving the review analysis evaluation monitoring and coordination of intellectual disabilities programs as a member of the administrative staff of the Washington County BHDS. Your duties will involve ensuring implementation of the rules regulations program policies and objectives and assisting in oversight of the delivery of services. For Incident and risk management you will monitor and oversee the State ID Incident tracking system of individuals enrolled in our county which includes completing initial and final reviews as well as determining if a county investigation is required and overseeing the investigatory process.
Your responsibilities will also include collecting tracking and follow-up for independent quality monitoring; and reviewing approving and tracking Individual Support plans which involves providing technical assistance for support coordinators. You will also deliver technical assistance to providers including but not limited to program planning development implementation and coordination. This position also offers the chance to advance your skills by attending trainings including the Certified Investigator ODP mandated trainings and various professional development programs.
