Job Description
- Support and lead client projects on-site in national and international settings from strategic concept development through to implementation.
- Assess and optimize product and process costs across the full product development lifecycle.
- Interpret and contribute to product development plans and translate technical requirements into cost engineering strategies.
- Leverage your engineering and design experience to work effectively with integrated cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with procurement functions and support cost-based negotiation strategies.
- Analyze and optimize product engineering solutions with a focus on their integration and interdependencies.
- Apply cost engineering tools and methods to identify and implement cost improvement opportunities.
- Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes to understand cost implications for components and systems.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering (with technical focus); an MBA is a plus.
- 47 years of experience in consulting or industry ideally in development production or procurement roles.
- Strong technical foundation and expert-level knowledge in product engineering and cost management.
- Industry experience in automotive off-highway industrial goods aerospace or electronics is highly valued.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think analytically creatively and strategically.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including fluency in English.
- High degree of mobility and willingness to travel frequently.
- Passion for working on cost optimization projects and delivering measurable results.
