Part time opportunity - We are recruiting for 3 days per week (Wednesday - Friday).
Exciting Opportunity in Fabrication at Longtown Branch!
Are you an enthusiastic flexible and organized individual looking for a new challenge Our Longtown branch is actively seeking someone like you to join our Fabrication Department. We specialize in manufacturing plastic pipe fittings and adaptors for our 26 nationwide branches. If you have a positive attitude and have experience in fabrication joinery engineering or similar manufacturing roles this is the opportunity youve been waiting for! Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Manufacturing a wide range of plastic pipe fittings
- Using various power tools such as band saws plastic welding guns and pipe saws
- Fabricating fittings to a high standard within short lead times
- Receiving specific machinery and product training if required
- Assisting the Fabrication Team & Manager as needed
- Supporting logistic duties
- Helping with stock control and stock movement duties
About You:
- Workshop background is an advantage
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Flexible working attitude
- Team player
- Ability to meet demanding timescales
- Willingness to step into a niche market and role
Qualifications :
Experience of plastic fabrications which would be a distinct advantage
