Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

JoinChange Grow Liveas aBehaviour Change Support Volunteerand play a vital role in helping individuals grow recover and thrive.

About the Role:

As a Behaviour Change Support Volunteer youll work closely with our Behaviour Change Practitioners to support people in recovery. From making support calls and co-facilitating groups to helping with triage assessments and 1:1 session youll be a key part of someones journey to a better life.

Youll also help service users connect with wider support networks such as mutual aid groups (AA NA SMART Recovery) education and training opportunities and community volunteering.

Key Activities:

  • Welcome new service users into treatment
  • Support individuals in achieving their care plan goals
  • Assist with triage assessments and 1:1 mapping session
  • Co-facilitate recovery groups such as Alcohol Pre-Detox and Here & Now
  • Make aftercare support calls to check in on service users
  • Signpost individuals to community resources and recovery motivators
