About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant for Psychogeriatrics you will:
- Provide expert advice and consultancy in dementia care particularly around clients experiencing challenging behaviours
- Deliver education and support to clients families carers and multidisciplinary professionals
- Liaise with GPs NGOs Specialist Geriatricians and other services to enhance outcomes and reduce hospital admissions
- Lead improvements in dementia care pathways across the Lower Mid North Coast
- Represent the service in district forums and continuous improvement initiatives

About you
Youre a Registered Nurse with:
- A minimum of 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience
- Postgraduate qualifications or substantial experience in Mental Health Gerontology or Dementia Care
- A current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and a willingness to travel across the sector
- Strong clinical judgement education capabilities and the ability to build collaborative networks

- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
