Boeing Distribution Inc.Boeing Global Services Distribution Business is seeking a dynamic Global Senior Quality Manager to lead our global quality teams specializing in hardware and fasteners. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality management systems ensuring compliance with industry standards managing supplier quality and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
Location: Hialeah Gardens FL.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the above-mentioned location.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads and manages lower-level managers and individual contributors based in various domestic and international locations.
Leadership: Lead and mentor global quality teams driving excellence in quality management practices across the organization in a cross functional matrix work environment.
Quality Management Systems: Develop and implement effective quality management systems tailored to the hardware and fasteners sector ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements maintaining the highest quality standards in all operations.
Supplier Quality Management: Manage supplier quality initiatives developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and reliability.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and leading initiatives to implement best practices.
Resource Management: Acquire and manage resources for the quality team ensuring the team is equipped to meet quality objectives and deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with suppliers Business Unit stakeholders peers partners customers and direct reports to promote collaboration and quality excellence.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
10 years of related work experience
Equivalent combination of formal education on-the-job training and/or work experience
Experience in supplier relations and aerospace manufacturing particularly in fasteners and hardware.
Proven experience in cross-functional team leadership with a strong focus on customer deliverables and quality management.
8 years of supervisory experience leading teams across multiple domestic / international sites
Strong analytical organizational and troubleshooting skills
Experience and knowledge of drawings MIL-Standards and customer requirements
Knowledgeable of ISO and AS9100/9120 Standards
Proficient computer skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel PowerPoint Word etc.)
Detail-oriented efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment and lead teams through emergent situations.
Proficient communication skills regarding performance coaching and ability to lead through balanced discipline and accountability
FAA CAA EASA regulatory experience
Travel:
This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
Bachelors degree Operations Supply Chain Quality Management or a related field; masters degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100 AS9120 ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma Lean).
