Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
This role will be based in Celtic Lakes. Our new 237000-square-foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces including 25000 square feet of R&D clean rooms 35000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and tool demo areas all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging power devices microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology.
This role will be responsible for driving specific programs for operational and process improvement initiatives within the GWS organization.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process improvements with a critical focus on Key performance indicators Internal Risk Assessment programs and Data (both integrity of and analysis
- Support key internal partners and some wider KLA business groups (Facilities Global Engineering IT and Software and Field Service organisation).
- Drive the design and implementation of new business processes with organizational context and priorities in mind.
- Monitor measure and analyse the efficiency of new initiatives and processes adjusting as needed.
- Work closely with operational leaders and other teams to find opportunities for process enhancements.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on new processes and how to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement further operational excellence improvement programs.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to drive process improvements.
- Establish and support key performance metrics and dashboards for monitoring operational performance.
- Assist in facilitating organisational change by leading and supporting operational and global initiatives within GWS.
- Support internal GWS process development (with focus on standardisation compliance regulations and operational & business standards (including ISO and equivalent).

- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant methodologies.
- Experience in a similar role within manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
