Job Description

A dynamic and experienced Geotechnical Engineering Manager is needed to lead a growing geotechnical team based in Nashville. This is a high-impact leadership role for a licensed professional with strong technical expertise project management experience and a passion for building client relationships. The role offers the opportunity to lead exciting high-profile projects across commercial real estate institutional and transportation markets while playing a key role in business strategy team development and market growth.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day operations of the geotechnical services team including project management staffing safety quality and financial performance.
- Oversee the development and execution of annual business plans and long-term strategic goals for the Middle Tennessee market.
- Manage geotechnical exploration projects of all sizes from proposal development to final deliverables ensuring technical and financial success.
- Serve as a key client contact building and maintaining strong relationships while actively pursuing business development opportunities.
- Collaborate across service lines and regional offices to deliver integrated solutions and cross-sell related services.
- Mentor junior engineers and field staff fostering professional development and technical excellence.
- Represent the company in local industry organizations and events to expand brand visibility and strengthen professional networks.


Requirements:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing geotechnical engineering projects.

- PE license in the state of Tennessee or ability to obtain within 6 months.

- Bachelors degree in Civil Geotechnical or Structural Engineering or a related construction-focused field.

- Deep understanding of project lifecycle in the A/E/C industry with the ability to manage both technical and financial project outcomes.
