Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Sales Director to lead the Industrial Sales team and scale growth across key territories. This individual will manage day-to-day sales operations coach Territory Managers ensure pipeline health and collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and internal departments. In addition to managing their own sales activity this leader will play a pivotal role in territory expansion sales process improvement and strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Sales Management

  • Lead the Industrial Sales teams daily operations including stand-ups pipeline reviews and rep check-ins
  • Review and approve pricing on all first-pass proposals before executive submission
  • Coach Territory Managers on performance deal strategy and professional development
  • Own forecasting accuracy pipeline health and team performance metrics
  • Serve as primary contact for internal escalations

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Align with Marketing on campaign execution lead gen initiatives and tradeshow strategies
  • Coordinate with Operations and Production on timelines inventory needs and delivery schedules
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and account retention
  • Represent Sales in cross-functional planning and decision-making

Executive Leadership & Strategic Oversight

  • Represent Industrial Sales in executive leadership syncs
  • Report team metrics forecasts and blockers to senior leadership
  • Run executive sales meetings in the absence of executive leadership
  • Provide strategic input on territory growth partnerships and customer feedback loops
  • Develop sales documentation onboarding materials and training standards

Territory Sales Responsibilities (Individual Contributor Portion)

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to manage and grow customer base
  • Prospect and generate leads; follow up on inbound inquiries
  • Own the full sales cycle: demos proposals negotiations and closing
  • Maintain ongoing customer relationships and secure expansion business
  • Attend industry events and tradeshows to build pipeline
  • Maintain CRM data and reporting for forecasting and performance tracking


Requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of sales experience or equivalent combination
  • Prior experience in B2B sales in construction industrial technology or a related field
  • Proven leadership in managing sales teams with a track record of goal achievement
  • Familiarity with large contractors and construction project lifecycles
  • CRM experience (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred)

Travel Requirement:

  • 5075% travel based on candidates location

Computer Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • HubSpot CRM experience is a plus

Compensation

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the compensation for this role is $80000 - 110000 per year comission however Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
