The Fabrication Tech is a key team member that will be responsible for removing modifying and reinstalling the rear bumper on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce maintaining the high-standards of quality and safety.

What youll do:
  • Remove bumpers lower interior trim seats and carpeting keeping all items organized for reinstallation.
  • Cut and reform the rear bumper capping the cut edges.
  • Install modified bumper using laser level and maintaining an eye for detail as every part is an exterior painted OEM part.
  • Post build inspection prior to Quality Control.
  • Use hand tools including but not limited to impact drivers hand drills band saw etc.
  • Maintain compliance with Freedom Motors quality and safety standards policies and procedures and OSHA safety regulations and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Some work involves overhead work.
What youll need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience working in automotive and/or recreational vehicles - build repair cut and/or paint experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
