St. Brendan Catholic School in Bothell is seeking an instructional aide in our elementary school. This position would work primarily with 3rd grade students but may help in other grade levels as needed. This is a full time position.

Assist the teacher in fostering a classroom atmosphere that reflects the Catholic faith encourages Christian leadership and integrates Catholic values into daily classroom activities
Conduct instructional activities assigned by the teacher; work with individual students or small groups for the purpose of practicing and/or reinforcing learning concepts and assisting students in reaching their academic goals and grade-level standards
Assists with the classroom management system under the direction of the teacher.
Help maintain neat and orderly classroom
Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers
Function as an appropriate role model for children
Provide students with proper examples emotional support and a friendly attitude and general guidance
Help supervise students throughout school day inside and outside classroom.
Provide supervision at recess
Keep teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues
Participates in appropriate staff development programs.
- Participates in STARS training and licensing requirements for early learning
- Scheduled duties will also include supervision of extended care students either after school 3-4:30PM OR before school 7am-8:30am
Other duties as assigned within the school day as assigned

Pay ranges $16-$22/hour dependent upon offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications. This position is eligible for benefits.
