We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Legal Counsel with at least 7 years of post-graduate experience to join our dynamic global legal team. The ideal candidate will hold a postgraduate degree in Law with a concentration Commercial Law and demonstrate a strong command of corporate legal matters contracts and negotiation skills. C1 or greater English proficiency is mandatory as the role involves frequent interaction with international teams and stakeholders. This position is hybrid in-person/remote with an in-office requirement of 40% of the month.
Main duties:
- Drafting/Negotiation/Reviewing commercial contracts including Master Service Agreements Statements of Work Non-Disclosure Agreements Supplier Contracts Licensing Agreements Data Privacy and Security Agreements.
- Liaising with internal business clients and stakeholders as well as external clients and stakeholders to ensure timely review negotiation and adherence with internal policies and practices.
- Coordinate the drafting review and proper execution of all contracts with business units service lines IT HR Legal and Finance as applicable.
- Formulate contract/commercial risk assessments and deliver contract briefings.
- Provide guidance on contract risk terms and negotiations to ensure the best possible outcome for the company.
- Collaborate with project teams to fully understand the products and/or services being provided and develop contract document templates.
- Establish positive and productive relationships with contract requestor(s) project teams and senior leadership involved in contract process.
- Research legal issues and engage in fact gathering and checking to provide support to senior legal team on all assigned legal matters.
- Effective use of contract management tools / systems / automation
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Law Degree (JD) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Experience: at least 7 years of legal experience (preferably 5) with a strong focus on commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated experience drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts governed by U.S. law including Master Services Agreements (MSAs) NDAs licensing agreements and client/vendor agreements.
- Familiarity with U.S. contract law principles and risk mitigation strategies.
- Language Proficiency: C1 or greater English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with contract management software is a plus.
- Legal Registration: Membership in the Colombian Bar Association (Consejo Superior de la Judicatura).

- Possess the ability to adapt to changes delays or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a high-volume environment required
- Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (and with contract management applications.
