EMERGENCY PLANNING OFFICER (GR5)

Working 36.5 hours per week
Please note this vacancy is only available to Birmingham City Council employees.
This post is within the Resilience & Operations team within the Community Safety Resilience & Prevent division. The purpose of this role is to support the Councils remit under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and other relevant legislation.
You will be experienced in the following (but not exclusively);
You will be a good communicator in in all forms of communication
Diploma (or equivalent) in emergency planning business continuity or related field and three years experience of working in an emergency planning environment.
OR
Degree in crisis management or a related discipline and two years experience of working in an emergency planning environment.
