Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Amazon Payment Products Finance team primarily supporting Amazons North American Credit products. The person will be part of a team responsible for long and short term financial planning controllership of monthly financial reporting developing and reporting on financial and operational performance metrics and providing analytical support for Senior Business Management. This position will be a key risk/controllership gateway for the payments business and will work cross functionally with business and accounting teams. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong analytical skills are also required.
Key job responsibilities - Build iterate and automate financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly business reviews. - Conduct variance analysis to generate insights and identify drivers of business performance. - Build financial forecasting models based on past performance and expected impact of future business initiatives. - Build controllership mechanisms to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Collaboration with business partners on new initiatives.
- 1 years of finance experience - Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field - Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning forecasting and reporting - Experience in Excel (macros index conditional list arrays pivots lookups) - Experience using databases with a large-scale data set
- Experience with SQL
