We offer multiple services from general long-term care short-stay rehab and memory care unit at the facility.At the Sioux Falls Village our vision is to lovingly provide quality dependable care at just the right time. Duties will include: scheduling resident rides; billing residents for rides through private pay Medicaid or other payer types; supervising a team of drivers who do the transporting; communicating rides to the drivers assuring they are timely; managing the drivers timecards; holding the drivers accountable as well as any disciplinary action needed for the drivers.

Summary
Will perform as well as supervise transporting patient/resident services. Ensure transporting services for patients/residents equipment and other miscellaneous items is conducted in a safe manner following pre-established patient/resident safety guidelines.Job Description
Transporting patients/residents to and from their beds and other areas such as therapy surgery radiology with the use of wheelchairs stretchers or moveable beds. Complete maintenance requests and ensure transportation equipment and tools are properly maintained at all times. Complying with organizational guidelines and policies of health safety and security while offering transportation services.
Provide leadership and decision support for patient/resident transport services to ensure efficient work flow. Leads by example when demonstrating bedside manner. Knows the importance of listening with the ability to clarify and apply good communication skills building strong relationships. Must have strong computer organizational and planning skills. Desire to expand knowledge of organization structure/layout. Demonstration of proper body mechanics is required in providing safe care to our patients/residents and customer service. Knowledge of infection control procedures.
Qualifications
High School diploma or general education development diploma (GED) equivalent required.Minimum of six months transporter experience preferred.
Registered with the North Dakota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Aide is required where applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six weeks of employment recertification as required.
