Job Description
As a Monitoring Specialist (m/f/d) at Damovo you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the monitoring infrastructure used to proactively identify analyze and address issues within our internal and external communication and network environments. Your role will be pivotal in minimizing downtime enhancing system performance and delivering exceptional service.
- Deploy configure and maintain monitoring tools (Zabbix and PRTG) for both on-premises and cloud systems
- Create dashboards and alerts to identify and address system issues
- Monitor real-time logs for anomalies performance issues and security threats
- Work with technical teams to resolve incidents quickly and efficiently
- Identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures to reduce downtime
- Document monitoring processes and generate system performance reports
- Automate monitoring tasks to enhance efficiency.
- 3 years in IT operations and monitoring preferably in large enterprises
- Knowledge of scripting (Python Bash PowerShell) Linux Windows and network performance monitoring
- Hight level of the knowledge with tools like Zabbix PRTG. Knowledge of Grafana is a plus
- Understanding of ITIL practices cloud environments and distributed systems
- Fluency in both German and English spoken and written is required.
