The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 70 - 100% (28 - 40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at ourUICC 1st Avenue Fam Med Clinic.This position will mainly support our Family Medicine Clinics but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations including but not limited to: Pediatrics and/or Specialty/Outreach Clinics.

Duties to include:

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid drivers license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards

Schedule:Variable hours Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM; no weekends no holidays and no on-call time.

Salary: Hourly rate: $20.92 - $31.17(based on years of experience)
